29th to 31st Dec. 2005, the SVA Group cadre theory discussing conference was held at Genbao hotel in Chongming Island. SVA Group¡¯s main strategic aim to accomplish in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan includes the following points. The core strategy would be to develop the TFT-LCD industry, trying to form the industry chain from the productive material, various parts to the finished products focusing on the flat panel display. The transaction income in 2010 should be 10 billion US dollars. The SVA, as a brand, should be made one of the famous in the flat panel display industry and the SVA group should become an international leading corporation in this industry. To achieve this goal, the group must rely on the dual power engine, the investment driving one and the innovation driving one, forming the industries group with the core of flat panel display industry base and transforming the economic growing manner substantially through the fuelling of technology and personnel talents and being faced with the market completely as for the concept and the measurements taken, feeling out a way leading to industry modernization.
The guide line of the SVA Group in 2006 includes the update if the industry, innovation of management, implementation of the transformation and the system reform, acceleration of the operational system construction adaptable to the market and the construction of the platform of research and development, personnel talents, information and finance, the enhancement of the core competition. There are also five key tasks, including the propelling of the construction of the TFT-LCD industry chain and the base and the completion of several stage goals of industry update falling; the propelling of the implementation of the total transformation case, improving the strategic management and supervision manners; the propelling of the perfect production, raising the economic operational quality; the propelling of the building of the SVA brand, rebuilding the market system led with marketing, the propelling of the construction of the four platforms, expediting the forming of core competence.
