December 29, Jiang Yiren, chairman of Shanghai CPPCC and director of Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, together with Zhu Guoliang, vice chairman and secretary general of Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, paid a visit to Shanghai Communication, Broadcast and TV Industrial Association for inspection.
Jiang browsed various books in the conference room, heard reports on basic dynamics and operation methods of the association, and convened a symposium to better understand the conditions. Jiang said during the symposium that he had read the article on great changes in the past 20 years, which brought him here. He pointed out that radio and TV broadcasting industry was a leading manufacturing industry, that SVA¡¯s spirit to strive for the best reflected the concept of scientific development, and that the industrial association should also strive for the best. ¡°Today, I see the basic work is well done, especially the information and statistics work as well as the magazine.¡± He stressed that as an industrial association for industrial enterprises, it should understand the importance of science and technology, and guide enterprises to leverage advanced technologies to develop new products. The association itself should also try to better accomplish basic work, self-construction and 3-library construction. It should innovate in system and mechanism and gradually adapt itself to the pace of development. Work in the association should be open, fair and square, and should serve the entire industry. At the same time, We should keep exploring and studying industrial theories, release features and characteristics of the industry, and build the brand of the association of communication, radio and TV industries.
